Tariff:-

  • Chambre "Gardenia": 70 euros for 2 people / 95 euros for 3 people per night

  • Chambre "Camellia": 60 euros for 2 people / 90 euros for 3 people per night

  • Chambre "Rose": 60 euros for 2 people / 85 euros for 3 people per night

  • We invite you to choose from a traditional Continental Breakfast (included in the price) or for an extra 10 euros per person a Full English Breakfast is available upon prior request.

  • Optional evening meals are 25 euros per person. Enjoy an aperitif drink, a starter, main course and cheese course followed by dessert and coffee plus a bottle of house wine per couple. Vegetarian options are available by prior arrangement.

  • Aperitifs are served at 7.30pm followed by dinner at 8pm. 

  • A selection of other drinks including superior wines, beers, digestifs, Irish Coffee, tea / coffee and non-alcoholic drinks are also available.

  • For an extra special romantic treat why not pre-book a chilled bottle of champagne to await you in your room upon arrival?

  • Please book in advance if you require an evening meal on the day of your arrival. For all subsequent evening meals please inform us by 10 am on the day you would like to dine.

  • Packed lunches are available upon prior request: 15 euros per person and must be booked by 10 am the day before.

Special Offers:-

A discount of 10% will be given on all stays of 3 nights or more between 7th January – 31st May and 1st September – 20th December inclusive. Weekly rates are available upon application.
Stay at 'Le Chatelet' and discover a wealth of chateaux, museums, churches, local markets and ancient crafts. The treasures of the Auvergne include unspoilt countryside, historic towns and ancient churches.

The local farmer's market is held under the cover of the famous circular 'Marie' (town hall) of nearby Ambert every Thursday. Come late summer many of the fields in the Auvergne become seas of golden sunflowers. The statue of the Virgin Mary looks down on the medieval city of Le Puy-en-Velay, The slopes of the Auvergne are clad in forest and pasture, dotted with stone-walled terracotta-roofed farms and watermills typical of the region. The portals of the imposing medieval cathedral of St Jean in Ambert. The Auvergne countryside is abundant with wild flowers. The stunning church of St Michel D'Aiguille in Le-Puy-en-Velay is considered the Eighth Wonder of the World by some.

Booking Terns and Conditions:- 

  • Deposit:- a deposit of 60 euros or 25% of the total cost (whichever is the greatest) is required to secure your reservation. The balance is payable on the evening before departure. On receipt of your completed booking form and deposit, you will be sent a confirmation of your reservation. 

  • Payment:- can only be accepted in either euro cash or euro / sterling cheque. Unfortunately we cannot at this time accept credit or debit cards.

  • Check-in / Check-out times:- are 5.00pm and 11.00am respectively. Please ask if you need to arrive earlier or vacate later and we will do our best to accommodate you.

  • Smoking:- 'Le Chatelet' is a non-smoking establishment.

  • Parking:- ample private car parking is available.
